The Law on Freedom of Information in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina “Official Gazette of Federation of BiH”, No. 32/01

This law regulates access to information held by public bodies in order to:

-          Determine whether information under control of public body is a significant public good and whether public access to information promotes greater transparency and accountability of public bodies, which is essential to the democratic process,

-          Determine whether any natural or legal person is entitled to access this information to the greatest extent possible, in accordance with the public interest, and whether public bodies  have a corresponding obligation to report such information,

-          Allow every natural person to request an amendment and to give comments on their personal information under the control of public bodies.
